Do you have a best friend that can tell the same stories you can all the way from Kindergarten?  Do you have a soulmate that has been by right your side for every life milestone since before you even entered high school?  Sounds cliche, right?  But what if that best friend and soulmate turned out to be the same person?  Well, sometimes it just works out that way.  And then at age 50 (and beyond!) when life slows down just a little and you stop to take a breath, you realize you have created an entire life of love, marriage, family and memories together.  That's us, that's who we are but right now we feel like we are just getting started! 

Throughout these years together, we've had lucky breaks, experienced hard lessons, stumbled under pressure and then got up to try again.  We have learned that we love the simple things in life like downhill hikes, perfect grill marks and when the ribbon on a gift curls in just the right direction. 

But in the last few years, along with the rest of the world, we also started focusing on what's really important in life.  We love our family, we love our pets, we love our time together and we wanted to do whatever we could to honor and protect that.

After more than 25 years of living in the city as a special education teacher and an engineer, we decided it was time to make some changes. 

 When you are born in a small town, that pull to move home is always close to your heart and we knew it was finally time.  So, we bought some land and headed back towards home. Cliche again? Maybe. Crazy? Probably. Exciting? Definitely!
